We start with the property as it actually is: sun and shade through the day, drainage and grade, irrigation coverage, the views you want framed and the ones you want screened, and how the house is approached on foot and by car. The design that comes out of that is specific to your lot, not a template moved from one address to the next.
Then we install it. Same company, same standard, one point of contact. And because we also maintain properties, the plan is drawn by people who know what it takes to keep it looking that way in year three.

Do you charge for the design?
The design is part of the installation when we do the work. If you want drawings to take elsewhere, that is a separate piece of work and we will say so up front.
Can the work be done in stages?
Yes, and often it should be. We design the whole property, then build it in an order that makes sense — grading and irrigation before planting, hardscape before lighting — so each stage stands on its own rather than being torn up by the next.
